Your Youthful Glow is a Magnet

BeautyYouth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art.” Stanislaw Lec

Further to my Valentine’s Day contemplations, our mother is in her eighties.  One would think that the bloom would eventually wear-off the Rose (no pun intended).  However, Mom’s still attracting caring, interesting and attractive men into her life.  I’m convinced that it’s because she eats healthy food, volunteers regularly, and dances every Sunday night.  At eighty plus years, she jives at a surprizingly fast pace!

Diet and exercise are important.  However, I’ve also seen many octogenarians transform into glowing beauties with just a smile.  Everything adds up to the fact that radiance comes from within.

How can you stay young, healthy and active?

Most people know what to do.  However, you may not feel the motivation to do what it takes.  Hypnosis can stop procrastination so you become empowered to stick to a healthy diet and regular exercise.  Your mind is such a powerful tool, a hypnotist can even focus your mind in a manner that will rejuvenate your skin, develop better muscle tone, and change your body shape in some surprizing ways.

Here are some other suggestions, described in the thirdage.com:

Like Hypnosis, you can Meditate to rest your muscles, including facial muscles. Both Hypnosis and regular meditation stimulate the pleasure center or left prefrontal cortex of the brain which calms facial muscles, minimizes the occurrence of wrinkles, and result in less frowning.

Exercise to boost Blood Flow throughout the body and result in younger looking skin

Use Natural Skin Products instead of chemicals. The following natural ingredients have antioxidants and have been shown to increase collagen production and elastin in the skin: functional keratin, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and grape seed oil

Use at least SPF 15 Sun Block Daily to protect your skin from UBA and UVA rays that cause aging and increase the likelihood of developing skin cancer and other skin diseases.  Avoid tanning beds

Scale Back on Alcohol and Caffeine as both beverages are skin dehydrating diuretics
Quit Smoking to slow the skin’s aging
Keep Skin Hydrated by drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day
Get 8 Hours of Sleep plus a Nap during the day
Exfoliate Your Skin with facial scrubs

On The Nutrition Front:
CoQ10 is a fat-soluble vitamin-like nutrient, naturally found in the body, that is crucial for cellular energy production. It is also a powerful antioxidant that mops up harmful free radicals and regenerates vitamin E.  The human body makes its own CoQlO but after age 35, production levels decline.  Beef, spinach, sardines, tuna and peanuts provide dietary CoQ10.  Products rich in CoQ10 can fill in the gaps and keep you looking radiant and more youthful after just six months.

Avoid sugar because it is inflammatory and leads to the breakdown of cell tissue which can cause diseases, …and wrinkling.

Eat Colourful Fresh Fruits and Vegetables to get the widest range of nutrition.  Research shows that eating colourful fruits and vegetables results in a more colourful complexion.

Smile!   …or learn to dance like your parents, grandparents or even great-grandparents did in the Wartime era.  Those crazy kids!
