Laws of the Universe

“There is an orderliness in the universe, there is an unalterable law governing everything and every being that exists or lives. It is no blind law; for no blind law can govern the conduct of living beings.”
Mohandas Gandhi

In the full length version of my book, soon to be published, one of the chapters describes the consequences of my breaking a law of the universe.  Many people don’t realize how powerful and magical humans are.  People have astounding abilities to manifest.  However, since the Earth is governed by free will, we can manifest for either good or evil.  In our ignorance, some of us  have set things in motion only to realize later that we created a monster.  It is important to understand that the universal laws are always at work.  Here are two examples:

The Law of Intention and Desire: When we attach a strong emotion to an intention or desire, it will manifest.  For example, if you absolutely ‘hate‘ the cold and snow of winter and dread it every year, chances are you will one day find yourself living in an even colder climate.  Better to  reflect on ‘loving‘ warmer climates.  If you feel a super-charged emotion such as ‘hate’ toward a specific person, in some way, shape or form, the universe will conspire to bring that person into your life.  If you feel a super-charged emotion such as ‘love’, the universe will also work for you in this way.

What You Resist Persists: What you resist, you draw to you.  What you resist out of fear, you become.  If you intensely dislike or fear a specific race of people, chances are very good that you will come back in your next life as part of that race.

Just so you don’t stumble and break one of the laws (the consequences can be ugly), James Robinson has listed on his web site what I understand to be most of the laws of the universe, courtesy of an article on James Robinson’s web site.  Here are the first five on the list:

Universal Laws from James Robinson

These are reputedly the laws that govern the universe. Many of these are common sense, and some are so esoteric that they require years of contemplation to understand. They may bring clarity and appreciation to some and total confusion to others. The more we contemplate these laws, the more clarity we achieve as to why life is the way it is. I’ve found that meditating on one of these laws every day helps to bring understanding.

I have culled these laws from several places on the Internet and have added my own text as well. These laws are for your personal use only.

1. The Law of Abundance. The universe strives every second to give us what we ask for and more. By creating visualizations of abundance in our lives we draw this energy of success into our reality. There is success in communication, spirituality, relationships and so on. It’s important when manifesting not to ask simply for abundance, because you may get an abundance of something you don’t want, such as debt. Additionally, this is a great time to mention that old saying, “Be careful what you ask for. You just might get it.” This is the law which makes desire a reality. Coupled with the Law of Attraction, it makes us very powerful.

2. The Law of Action. No matter what we feel or know, no matter what our potential gifts or talents, only action brings them to life. Those of us who think we understand concepts, such as commitment, courage, and love, one day discover that we only create knowingness when we act; doing becomes understanding. It’s action that anchors energy into the physical plane.

3. The Law of Akasha. This is a great cosmic law that is the principle of the intelligence of substance. Everything that has happened and will happen is recorded in the Great Akashic Halls. Anyone can access these files.

4. The Law of Analogy. This law allows a correspondence of similar circumstances, which means that one idea can be explained by a similar idea. Although this is a definite condition of third-dimension existence, no analogy is ever exact in detail but only in certain broad, basic correspondences. There will be found unchangeable points of resemblance, but in using analogy viewing creation, no two details are exact. Using analogy in trying to explain the unexplainable, one attempts to convey understanding, in a broad sense.

5. The Law of Ascension. This law defines the highest vibration frequency from which the soul of an incarnation being is resonating. When a personality loses the illusion of separation from its God self, the vibration of that person raises to the point of ascension. At that point, everyone has a choice of ascending or staying on the planet to help others.
