A Spiritual Law for Saturday

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.  E.E. Cummings

Deepak Chopra practices the spiritual laws each day of the week.  Here is Saturday’s:
The Law of Dharma

“Deepak says that Dharma can be defined as purpose in life or the evolutionary impulse of the Universe.  Everyone has a purpose.  The way you find your purpose is by listening to your heart and listening to your body.  Everybody has a unique talent.  Pay attention to your talents.  What is your unique position in the world?  The universe is like a big jig-saw puzzle, you are a piece in the puzzle and there are no spare parts in the universe.  Your DNA or genetic code is unique and completely different than anyone else in the world.  The Law of Dharma says, when you are doing what is unique to you, and when your unique talent somehow serves the web of life, then you will get everything you want in life.  All you have to do is find out what your unique talents are, find out how those unique talents serve the web of life, the web of relationships.  Then you have to do that thing with passion.”

When you are ‘on-track’ and relying on your unique talents gifts and abilities, you are on track, in-line with the divine.  Your unique abilities will sustain you, feel gratifying, and you will lose track of time.  Your natural born gifts, talents and abilities will guide you, sustain you and give you feelings of joy, satisfaction and completeness.

“Figure out what is that thing.  If you had all the money in the world and all the time in the world, then what you would be doing?  Would you be singing in the streets or in the park, then maybe you are a great singer.  If it would be traveling, maybe you should be a travel agent.  Write down what your unique talent is.  Ask yourself, what would I do if I had all the money and time in the world?  Also ask yourself, what do I now do that when I do it, I lose track of time in the world.  I am so happy and so blissful that time flies.  How can I serve people with that?  How can I have passion in that service?  You have joined the evolutionary impulse of the universe.  Nothing will stop you because you will do everything with passion and love.”

Find the courage to be who you truly are.
