What the Food Industry Won’t Teach You

In the previous post, I discussed how Dr. Michael Klaper’s video ‘Food that Kills’ highlights conclusive evidence that the high fat, salt and cholesterol in a regular North American diet with Beef, Chicken, Fish and Dairy Products is the leading cause of breast cancer, prostate cancer, heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, and the list goes on.

Klaper points out that animal fat is in all animal flesh and dairy products.  It ‘sticks’ to your arteries and internal organs, is solid at body temperature, and has arachidonic acid which raises inflammation via prostaglandin 2.

Animal Flesh has Too Much Protein

Calcium Deficiency is a Disease of Animal Protein Excess

North Americans have the highest incidence of Osteoporosis caused by Protein-Induced Hypercalciuria (too much calcium being eliminated in the urine).

Meat & Dairy Products have High Acid (increased Sulfur) and No Fiber.  The acid and sulfur quickly dissolve your body’s Calcium and pull it out of your bones because there is no fiber to slow down the process.

Whole Plant Protein has Less Acid plus Fiber which contributes to a gentle and slower digestion process that retains the Calcium in your body.

There’s so much protein in dairy products, that calcium from dairy does not prevent hypercalciuria.  Even if you take calcium tablets and drink three glasses of milk a day, a diet of animal protein will rob you of your essential calcium.

Case in Point:  In 1988, I was diagnosed with Spina Bifida when an X-ray revealed that part of my lower spine was missing.  I was ordered to stop jogging and eliminate any impact exercise.  Ten years later, after an allergic reaction to milk, I stopped consuming all dairy products.  A few years after that, when I inquired about surgery to fix my spine, a new X-ray showed that it had healed itself.  My doctor determined that the missing bone had been caused by a calcium deficiency, not Spina Bifida.  It was assumed that my allergy to dairy caused my body to reject the calcium in dairy.  However, it may also be that my high animal protein diet was the real culprit.  Either way, I’m staying away from dairy and animal protein.

Studies show that vegetarian women have better bone density than meat-eating women.  Osteoporosis is unheard of in China yet this country consumes almost no dairy products.  They consume mainly grains and vegetables which retain the calcium in the body.

The Good News:  When you avoid animal protein and eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, preferably the organic variety without GMOs, you can reverse most of the above-mentioned diseases and regain your health.
