Water Fasting

An amazing Vegan Chef from New Zealand attended my “Full Immersion into Spirit Intensive” over a six day period.  Four days into it, he inquired about fasting.  Curious, I channelled guidance from the Angels. They told him to fast for ten days on water.  While they were on the subject, they took the opportunity to directed me to also fast.  My heart sunk when they advised me to do a 20 day water  fast.  It had been a year since a 7 day water fast so I suppose I was due.

We fasted on the last two days of my guest’s visit and were successful in avoiding food.  However, when my guest left, I had a refrigerator full of fresh vegetables that I’d planned to prepare and on day 3, had some fruit.  I channelled and asked what I should do.  The Angels said to eat that day and the next, but to do the 20 day fast, effective today.

So, I’m water fasting for 20 days.  We’ll see how it goes.

What are the benefits of a water fast?  If you research the WWW you’ll learn some astonishing benefits.  Some people have cured tough diseases through water fasting.  Others have overcome allergies, let go of unwanted fat, and felt cleansed, rejuvenated and revitalized. Others have let go of sugar, caffeine, alcohol, meat or other addictive substances.   Yes, all of these things can be highly addictive.

When I water fast, I become super psychic and can channel far more easily.

When animals become ill, it’s normal for them to water fast in order to heal.  Like a computer, water fasting reboots your system.   Your body understands that you’re not starving yourself and goes into healing mode.  However, it’s important to know how to water fast properly.

In contrast, if you drink a lot of water and eat a little bit of food every day, your body will go into starvation mode.  This is something you really want to avoid.  Consuming zero food is important on a water fast.

Many people water fast on water alone.  However, to me, electrolytes are key.  Electrolytes are an acid/salt electrically conducting solution to ensure your heart and other vital organs continue to function normally.  Without electrolytes, I would wake-up in the morning seeing stars and feeling very sick and dizzy.  With electrolytes, I carry on normally.

You can purchase electrolytes in the store in foil packages or as a bottle of liquid.  Alternatively, you can make an electrolyte solution yourself with one Liter of water, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. sea salt, and 1 tbsp. lemon juice or more to taste.  Some people add orange juice or honey.  However, if you want to beat sugar cravings, these are not recommended.

If you purchase foil pouches of electrolytes, the Angels gave me the following instructions.  Have one on the first day.  Two on the next day.  Three on the third day, and four every day thereafter.  If you’re a big person, or small person, you must take this into account.

If you have any health issues, you must also speak to your doctor before you consider water fasting.

Generally speaking, in the first few days of water fasting, your body consumes what’s left in your digestive system.  In the next few days of fasting, your body begins to consume muscle.  However, around day 6, your body realizes that it’s self-destructing and begins to consume your fat.  This process is highly beneficial because the toxins you’ve consumed over the years have been stored in your fat cells.  The body will consume both the fat plus any toxins.  As a result of this amazing natural process, water fasting can be the most beneficial cleansing and healing mechanism.  I’m guessing that water fasting once a year would be highly beneficial, but you’d better ask your doctor about it.

If you do not fast for at least 7 days, you will not benefit from the full healing and cleaning process.

You can function quite normally on a water fast, but perhaps it’s better not to over exert yourself energetically.  While water fasting, I continue to work full days, do Yoga, and walk.  I’m not a runner these days, but I know some people keep their running schedule up.

Those who should NOT water fast include children, pregnant women, people with liver or kidney conditions, bulimia, anorexia.

    Please be very careful. Though I completely respect your knowledge and your quest for spiritual advancement, you also need your body to remain healthy in order to continue your work. Our bodies are made up mostly of water, and without it our organs suffer. According to most websites we are under threat after only three days without water.

    Also, when we deprive the body of food suddenly and dramatically, the body learns to store fat more effectively the next time – so it can lead to weight gain instead of weight loss in the longer term. Please excuse me if you are already aware of this.

      You’re wonderful! Thank you for your concern. I survived on water and electrolytes for 22 days and am now slowly getting my digestive system working again. It’s been surprizingly slow. Now, I can only stomach 1 or 2 pieces of fruit plus greens. Quite astonishing the change in diet now. Super healthy diet, and I thought it was healthy before!
